# Formula Library Review Notes

## Critic Rules Applied

- Formula extraction is not validation.
- A formula can be catalogued before it is trusted.
- Every formula must keep its provenance class.
- OCR text is only a working copy until image/PDF verification.
- Spreadsheet/code formulas may help reconstruct but cannot silently overwrite source formulas.

## Immediate Review Flags

1. `HT-F-1982-MU`: image check resolved the damaged OCR; keep historical-constant provenance separate before implementation.
2. `HT-F-1982-AUX`: `Phi` expression is too fragile for direct coding from OCR.
3. `HT-F-1989-MASS`: final `alpha_minus` term is source-checked as `4 q alpha_-`; adjacent `(B4)` alpha constants remain a normalization risk.
4. `HT-F-1989-FPHI`: source itself says bracket corrections were estimated.
5. `HT-F-1982-SELECTION`: if this rule is unclear, all mass matching can become cherry picking.
